Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its dynamic team in the Enterprise Audit group located on the South Shore of Montreal. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in helping clients manage risk and improve their financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements
  • Conduct financial statement review and compilations for private companies
  • Lead field engagement teams and coach and mentor junior staff members
  • Perform analysis of complex accounting issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients
Requirements
  • Accounting or business degree
  • Successful completion of the CFE and/or working towards a CPA designation
  • 2 years post-graduate experience with a public accounting firm
  • Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Experience with ASPE and ASNPO
