Senior Game Operations Engineer

As a key member of Code Wizards' global operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' online games. With a strong background in DevOps and a passion for the gaming industry, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Game Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with game studios and publishers to understand their infrastructure needs and provide expert advice on best practices.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for online games
  • Collaborating with game studios and publishers to understand their infrastructure needs and provide expert advice on best practices
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues
  • Participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for our clients

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure management
  • Strong background in Linux system administration and cloud computing
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the gaming industry
  • Knowledge of game engines such as Unity or Unreal
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
