About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at NEW GREEN CONSTRUCTION AND MANAGEMENT LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards, and identify and address any quality control issues promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures, and take immediate action to address any safety concerns.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to construction workers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with site personnel, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with project goals and objectives.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Integration Support: Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees to help them integrate into the workplace and access community resources.
  • Credential Recognition: Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them access employment opportunities.
  • Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mentorship: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote employment opportunities and support Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Equity and Inclusion: Apply hiring policies that promote equity and inclusion for visible minorities, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair visible minorities with experienced employees to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
