Food Service Manager

Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill Guelph is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week.
- Free parking available.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of work.
