Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Lead for the Come to Work Program Transition

to enhance accessibility and inclusivity across Canada, ensuring individuals with low vision have the opportunity to engage fully in society.

Your Contributions at CNIB
  1. Collaborate with the Team Lead for Come to Work to monitor project performance against established key performance indicators and objectives during the project's final phase.
  2. Document and maintain comprehensive knowledge, processes, and resources related to project execution.
  3. Collect data, testimonials, images, and other materials that showcase the achievements of the Come to Work Project within the province.
  4. Prepare and compile project reports as required by governmental stakeholders.
  5. Track all project-related expenses and maintain supporting documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. In partnership with the Philanthropy team, explore and evaluate potential funding opportunities for the Come to Work Program in British Columbia.
  7. Assist in developing and nurturing relationships with potential funders under the guidance of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Philanthropy team.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
Education and Certifications
  1. Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
Experience and Skills
  1. 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
  2. Experience in the non-profit or public sector is advantageous.
  3. Exceptional communication abilities.
  4. Proficient in teamwork and collaboration across various organizational levels.
  5. Strong writing skills with the capability to create reports, documents, and briefings.
  6. Experience in reporting for government projects is beneficial.
  7. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Ability to assimilate information quickly and apply insights effectively.
  9. Proficient in Customer Relationship Management software.
  10. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  11. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  12. Demonstrated time management, planning, coordination, and organizational skills; proactive in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  13. Exhibits a strong understanding of and commitment to diversity and accessibility issues.
  14. Personal or professional experience related to blindness and sight loss is an asset.
  15. Experience with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered a plus.

Work Environment
  1. In-office presence required a minimum of 2 days per week.
