About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ballet Instructor to join our team at Vanleena Dance Academy Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging ballet lesson plans for students of all levels
  • Teach classical ballet techniques and artistic interpretation to students
  • Prepare students for auditions and performances, including rehearsals and choreography
  • Exercise regularly to maintain physical ability and physical fitness
  • Organize and lead dance productions, including casting, rehearsals, and performances
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and implement curriculum and programs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in ballet education
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience teaching ballet
  • Strong knowledge of classical ballet techniques and repertoire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to teach and perform ballet
  • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching ballet to students of all ages and levels
  • Knowledge of modern ballet and other dance styles
  • Experience with choreography and dance production
  • Fluency in English
