About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at A&W Restaurant Gravenhurst. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage our restaurant's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Inventory Management: Plan and organize inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our staff and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Operational Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure that we are running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Tight Deadlines: You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines to ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Repetitive Tasks: You will be required to perform repetitive tasks, such as monitoring inventory and managing staff.
