Clinical Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at JP Recruiting Agency. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative primary healthcare services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Health Assessments: Conduct thorough health assessments using sound clinical judgment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills to identify and address the healthcare needs of our clients.
- Autonomous Practice: Practice independently and be solely accountable for your actions while providing care to our clients.
- Collaboration: Consult with physicians or other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure the best possible care for our clients.
- Prescriptive Authority: Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and lab tests, in accordance with the Standards of Practice for RNs in the Extended Class.
- Health Promotion: Implement strategies to promote health and prevent illness with individuals, families, or groups.
- Case Management: Collaborate on the management of clients with stable chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and asthma, through a predetermined referral process.
- Referrals: Refer clients to other providers or programs as needed to ensure the best possible care.
- Licensure: Be licensed and in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Ontario.
- Certifications: Hold Basic Life Support for Health Providers or CPR/AED Level C certification.
- Education: Possess a Master's degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Skills: Possess strong clinical skills, the ability to work independently, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients with diverse needs.
