Controller - Accounting and Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading our accounting and financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and addressing any audit findings.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company's compliance and adherence.
- CPA designation and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Controller.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of accounting professionals.
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment, with the ability to adapt to new challenges and priorities.
- Advanced credentials such as a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, preferred.
CB Canada offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
