Job Title: Senior React Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to join our team at Global Relay. As a Senior React Developer, you will play a key role in driving technical direction across multiple teams and owning the technical direction for delivering highly scalable distributed services and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor to junior developers, guiding their professional and technical development.
  • Partner with peers across Engineering, Product Management, and Design to drive delivery of cross-functional projects and address technical and resourcing challenges in the organization.
  • Work with multiple teams of talented engineers who like to ship code and tackle hard engineering problems.
  • Provide continuous feedback and technical guidance for your peers and other developers.
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog ensuring the backlog is arranged to help maximize delivery.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • ~10+ years of software development experience; shipping enterprise-grade software, using multiple languages and frameworks.
  • ~ Motivation to grow and build on the Senior React Developer role, going above and beyond to become a Staff Developer.
  • ~ Extensive experience in stakeholder management, and experience finding pragmatic solutions that help design and development maximize delivery.
  • ~ Experience building and managing large, highly scalable distributed services, complex databases, microservices, and APIs in service and resource-oriented architectures.

  • An annual base salary range of $90,000 — $130,000 CAD.
