Project Manager

Trane Technologies is seeking an Equipment Project Manager to oversee HVAC equipment initiatives. This role entails the effective administration, execution, and oversight of HVAC equipment projects, ensuring adherence to the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and strategize assigned projects, develop timelines, and establish project parameters to achieve system goals, particularly in complex equipment scenarios.
- Engage with clients and their representatives, including building proprietors, mechanical contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring customer satisfaction through issue resolution and effective communication.
- Align estimated shipping timelines with contractor schedules while ensuring compliance with internal equipment procurement protocols.
- Maintain accuracy in projected costs and manage expenses by closely monitoring the project budget.
- Develop and update project schedules, including task generation, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
- Handle equipment orders, issue purchase orders, and create work orders for equipment initiation.
- Manage project cash flow, including progress billing, collection support, and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in engineering or a related field with at least two (2) years of experience in project management, equipment, HVAC, or a similar domain; OR a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Preferred familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature control equipment.
- Demonstrated customer service and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
