Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Gursewak Sran, Sukhdeep Sran. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with shopping for food and household supplies
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
What We Offer:
  • Permanent full-time position
