About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join our team in Gatineau, Quebec. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
  • Exhibit a natural curiosity to uncover and solve for clients' needs, delivering trusted financial advice on investments and retirement planning.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset when identifying clients' needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions.
  • Foster strong engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice.
  • Exercise a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners.
  • Build relationships, focus on providing a great client experience, and grow long-standing relationships with existing clients.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
  • Successfully completed (or working towards) the IQPF designation within Quebec.
  • Accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledgeable of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with English and French-speaking clients.
