Job Description for Floor Covering Installer

Diamond Construction is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by cleaning, repairing, and ensuring they are level and secure.
  • Measure and Cut Flooring Materials: Measure and cut flooring materials to the correct size and shape for installation.
  • Install Flooring: Install flooring materials, including carpeting, resilient flooring, and hardwood flooring, to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Inspect and Repair Flooring: Inspect installed flooring for defects and repair any damage or issues.
  • Estimate and Plan: Estimate the materials and labor required for each installation and plan the installation schedule to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
