Senior Producer Job Description

At Dentsu Creative, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Producer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of broadcast, digital, and non-traditional content elements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production process from initiation to implementation and deployment, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Oversee financial metrics, including invoicing, completion reports, and project reconciliation.
  • Liaise with account services, media, and clients to determine executional requirements.
  • Develop detailed production scopes, budgets, and timelines, defining the execution approach and vision.
  • Collaborate with senior-level creative teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Source and secure production resources and delivery experts for small and large-scale productions.
  • Manage and communicate project status to internal teams and clients, identifying and resolving issues and risks.
  • Negotiate talent contracts for union and non-union jobs.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of agency production experience.
  • Complete knowledge of start-to-finish project tasks, with demonstrated ability to manage full client portfolios.
  • Experience in integrated production, including digital and activations, is an asset.
  • Experience in QSR or other food-related business.
  • Able to analyze and distill complex information for team members.
  • A strong leader and team player who understands how to work effectively in a fast-paced organization.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with a wide range of budgets.
  • Established relationships with local and out-of-province production partners.
  • Strong knowledge of talent and music licensing.
  • Able to adapt quickly to change while managing several priorities at once.
  • Bilingual EN/FR advantageous.
