**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our customers have an outstanding shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli department and surrounding areas.
  • Restock shelves and displays, ensuring that products are facing forward and at eye level.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions and processing payments.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including creating attractive displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
