Role Overview:

  • Respond to account-level attacks on Scotiabank's products and digital properties in Canada, following incident protocols and playbooks.
  • Produce timely incident communications for various audiences, identifying systemic issues for post-incident reviews.
  • Maintain and exceed incident management KPIs, intake and triage events for appropriate response.
  • Recommend improvements to cyber-fraud monitoring based on early-detection efforts.
  • Stay informed on the cyber-fraud threat landscape through industry participation and direct research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement incident response plans to minimize business disruption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber-fraud risks.
  • Analyze incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in cyber-fraud or security incident management.
  • Knowledge in incident management, threat intelligence, and customer identity & access management.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISM are valuable.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or cybersecurity is an asset, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
