Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist/Developer for ServiceNow SAM

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) resource to oversee the technical aspects of our SAM initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow SAM module, ensuring effective software asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development and implementation of the ServiceNow SAM module.
  • Integrate SAM with other ServiceNow modules and external systems.
  • Manage the day-to-day technical operations of the SAM module.
  • Ensure the SAM environment is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Administer the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage ServiceNow user accounts, roles, and access controls.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and data integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure ServiceNow solutions align with overall IT strategy.
  • Provide technical support and training to ServiceNow users.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within ServiceNow.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices.
  • Participate in ServiceNow community forums and knowledge sharing activities.

Requirements:

  • 8+ Years of hands-on ServiceNow Platform engineering/development experience.
  • ~3+ Years of hands-on ServiceNow SAM implementation and integration experience.
  • ~ Proven technical experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and HRSD.
  • ~ Certification in Administration or implementation of SAM module / other ServiceNow modules (CSAM/CITAM).
  • ~ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and cloud infrastructure.
