Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Assistant at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Westshore.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Support early childhood educators in implementing programs and activities.
  • Keep accurate records and submit written observations.
  • Prepare snacks and maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Engage children in activities and promote their well-being.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with young children.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
