Position Summary
The Bartender is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will work closely with our F&B Supervisor(s) and F&B Manager(s) to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to our guests, promoting food and beverage offerings and ensuring their needs are met.
- Manage cash transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ownership, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent required.
- Cash handling experience and one-year bartending experience in a bar or pub setting required.
- Point of sale experience and heavy lifting ability required.
- Proven strong sales and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with guests about Responsible Beverage Service and recognize signs of possible intoxication.
- Satisfactory attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular casino, restaurant, or bar environment, with exposure to noise, odors, and non-traditional work hours.
