Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at JACMAR Restaurants Inc. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Work under pressure to meet customer demands and maintain a high level of quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English or French
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide exceptional customer service. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
