Leading Success Through Strategic Project Oversight In the role of Director, Enterprise Project Management Office, you will be responsible for managing the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and the Operational Readiness Office, playing a pivotal role in supporting Home Hardware's transformational strategy and change management initiatives. Reporting to the Vice-President, ERP & Project Management Office, this position is ideal for an individual with exceptional leadership and facilitation capabilities. Here’s how you will make a difference: Direct the vision and planning of the EPMO team while implementing best practices for the development, delivery, and support of the Enterprise Portfolio Plan (EPP) to align with business objectives and ensure successful project execution. Establish and uphold project governance standards, including policies, procedures, and frameworks, to guarantee consistent project management practices throughout the organization. Lead the Operational Readiness Office team to assist EPP Projects. Manage the project portfolio to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and oversee interdependencies among projects. Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization (human, financial, and technological) across projects while identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to achieve successful project outcomes. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are recognized and addressed. Promote the growth and development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture through open communication and idea-sharing. Clearly articulate the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the EPMO to the team, providing direction and inspiring high performance aligned with organizational objectives. We are seeking candidates with: A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Performance Management with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Proven ability to deliver enterprise-level solutions and make decisions with a focus on overarching goals. Experience in driving continuous process improvement and ensuring team members concentrate on high-value initiatives. Strong leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in understandable terms to all organizational levels. Strong attention to detail, organizational/time management skills, and a commitment to self-development. Flexibility to prioritize and respond to multiple competing demands. Solid business acumen and awareness of technical trends. Ability to balance risk, cost, and benefit while maintaining a customer service focus. Extensive knowledge and experience in transformational initiatives, including exposure to advisory firms. Availability to work onsite three days a week to support a hybrid working model.
