About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Senior Commercial Markets team as a Director, Market Risk. As a key member of our Commercial Financial Services (CFS) division, you will be responsible for driving business growth, deepening client relationships, and managing risk across our portfolio of large commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire and grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships
  • Collaborate with the client relationship team to bring the full breadth of RBC to businesses, business owners, and their employees
  • Work closely with CFS Finance to manage and support complex client credit needs, demonstrating strong credit acumen and sound risk mitigation
  • Foster internal and external strategic partnerships and centres of influence to meet business goals
  • Ensure clients are enabled to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business
Requirements
  • University degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with strong financial analysis skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years' commercial banking experience
  • Experience and comfort with emerging technology, such as video conferencing, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications
  • MBA and/or CFA considered an asset
