Finance Analyst Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst Intern to join our team at Haleon. As a Finance Analyst Intern, you will assist in ensuring revenues and expenses are properly recorded and liabilities adequately anticipated. You will also play a critical role in project work to deliver on Canada's business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all financial processes for the Customer Account Teams are compliant with Haleon policies, International Financial Reporting Standards, and government regulations
- Provide financial support and business partnering to assigned customer team, which will include the opportunity identification process and enable decision making on Account Teams' go-to-market approach.
- Review spend and analyze customer net sales performance, variance to budget. Proactively identify risk and opportunity and propose mitigation plan
- Decision support on Net Revenue Management initiatives assessment and complete Return on Investment analysis
- Support a consistent monthly Customer profitability model that links Customer P&L, Brand P&L and Company P&L views.
- Assist Sales Finance Manager in data gathering and analysis
- Must be available for the total duration of the 12-month contract
- Enrolled (or graduated within last two years) (business, accounting/finance focus)
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
- Solid understanding of finance fundamentals
- Financial acumen and understanding of CPG industry
- Ability to work with multiple levels within the organization effectively and across multiple functions (e.g. Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Administration)
