Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Quality Foods Chinese Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Responsibilities- Ensure all dishes, glassware, and flatware are clean and sanitized before use.
- Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Store clean dishes, glassware, and flatware in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
