Self-Checkout Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Self-Checkout Attendant to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with the use of self-service options, including educating them on the correct and efficient use of these systems.
- Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives, to customers as applicable.
- Monitor customer activity to determine when assistance is needed and provide support in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct quality checks and interventions as required, explaining the reasons for these actions to customers in a positive and reassuring way.
- Respond to EAS alarms and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Notify the Customer Service Manager when the self-service area is low on cash or experiences a technical issue.
- Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use.

- Basic knowledge of self-service systems and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and professional attitude.
