Authentic Indian Cuisine Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Fusion Authentic Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our kitchen team.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Fusion Authentic Indian Cuisine is a dynamic and growing company, committed to serving high-quality Indian cuisine to our customers. We offer a permanent position, with 30 to 40 hours of work per week, and a competitive compensation package.
