About the Role

The Delivery Experience team at Remitly is responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience for sending money across borders. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our services into new countries and integrating new payment types.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to design and implement scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Design and implement responsive user interfaces that enhance usability and deliver a seamless user experience for internal and external Remitly customers.
  • Develop solutions for complex problems using multiple full-stack technologies, including TypeScript, React, Java/Kotlin, and Go.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend development for web/native applications.
  • Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
