Information Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Management Specialist to join our team at GTT, LLC.
The successful candidate will provide information management and technology services to IT development projects within Environment and Protected Areas related to water and digital regulatory assurance.
The role will involve strategic planning, facilitating partnerships with external stakeholders, and working with leaders to identify and advance IMT projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data platforms, governance standards, processes, and mechanisms to enable organizations to manage information through its entire lifecycle.
- Prepare and implement government-wide strategies and/or mandates on data transformation initiatives.
- Work on agile software development and modern, service design based product delivery comparable in size and complexity for a large organization.
- Conduct, facilitate, and interpret impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.
- Develop service blueprints, journey maps, prototype designs, business plans, program plans, strategic plans, tactical plans, operational plans, communication plans, and road-maps.
- Manage software application development/deployment projects in IT environments using Agile methodology.
- Develop information management or related types of policies, standards, and practices.
- Work with Information Governance, or records management and information management.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the development and implementation of data platforms, governance standards, processes, and mechanisms.
They will also have experience working on agile software development and modern, service design based product delivery, as well as conducting, facilitating, and interpreting impact and risk assessments.
A strong understanding of data governance, information management, and IT project management is essential.
The candidate should be able to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
