Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at MSI. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing and developing sales and margins of our tile product lines with the retailer/dealer network within an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers within your territory
- Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel to ensure effective product presentation and negotiation
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and product positioning to drive sales growth
- Manage displays, samples, and selling tools to ensure customer availability
- Consult with dealers on retail pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI to optimize sales performance
- Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for customer orders
- Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules
- Analyze sales reports to identify sales potential and opportunities
- Utilize marketing tools to broaden reach and promote company products
- Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and issues
- Attend trade shows as required
- Travel locally, nationally, and internationally (40-80% of the time)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2+ years of experience in channel distribution sales
- Minimum 2 years of related industry experience in natural stone, tile, or hard flooring
- Strong math skills and ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Results-oriented with ability to work independently and within a team
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Confidence and motivation to work towards targets
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well alone or within a team
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
- Resilience to deal with customer rejections
- Bilingual in French (desired)
