Job Title: Senior Analyst - Technological Tools Improvement

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Tax Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for improving our technological tools to optimize processes and enhance data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Develop office automation solutions to simplify existing processes
  • Design and improve work tools to standardize operational tasks
  • Contribute to reviewing existing processes and proposing new ways of operating
  • Implement quality control processes to manage risks and ensure compliance
  • Work with IT teams to integrate solutions and adapt to regulatory changes
  • Help implement, manage, and maintain collaborative tools
  • Transform and advance IT and operational practices
  • Collect and analyze data to produce reports and aid in decision-making
  • Create presentations for periodic information sessions
  • Update procedure documentation and process mapping
  • Participate in user testing and activities
  • Serve as a resource person for technical incidents and requests
  • Roll out new IT solutions and ensure adoption
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or master's degree and 3 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in developing office automation tools (Excel and Access - macros and VB)
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite and collaboration tools (Power BI, Visio, Confluence, JIRA)
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets, an asset
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
  • Independent, responsible, and willing to take initiative
