About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at Kiwanis Manor, a beautiful assisted living facility in West Vancouver.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, performing assessments, and administering medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing treatments
  • Directly supervise care staff to ensure residents receive high-quality care
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with BC College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
