Job Summary

This is a full-time Housekeeping Attendant position at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties in patient care areas, including dry mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Operate various floor machines and equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
  • Adhere to infection control practices and proper cleaning techniques.
  • Perform physical tasks and work in environmental elements.
  • Operate computers and Microsoft programs.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and proper cleaning techniques.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This position involves working various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $25.629 to $25.984 per hour.
