About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Agence de placement et de développement internationale inc (R.P.M.B). As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping, errands, and other tasks, ensuring their independence and autonomy.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with a willingness to relocate.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, judgement, reliability, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
