Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Definitive Optimization Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, testing, and analysis of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems
  • Carry out a range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs
  • Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they meet specifications
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Willingness to travel
