Job Title: Senior Regulatory Coordinator

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Regulatory Coordinator to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and preparing regulatory filings for our Major Midstream Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of regulatory applications and approvals, including new and amendments.
  • Track compliance with existing regulatory approvals and permits.
  • Provide environmental and regulatory reporting during project phases.
  • Review and advise on compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations.
  • Coordinate information requests from Indigenous nations and stakeholders on regulatory and environmental deliverables.
  • Provide oversight on compliance reporting to the Project Management Team and Construction Management Team.
  • Support the development of project-specific regulatory and environmental management plans.
  • Support internal compliance assurance plans, as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary and interdepartmental teams to achieve regulatory and environmental project commitments and goals.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Regulatory and Environmental field, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with regulatory applications, environmental compliance, and government or community relations.
  • Management of regulatory and environmental commitments, approvals, permits, and stewardship.
  • Experience working with Canadian government oil and gas regulators, including the AER, BCER, and CER.
  • Strong understanding of regulations and standards governing Midstream Operations infrastructure in all operating jurisdictions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, or other relevant technical or scientific discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional registration as an Engineer, Geologist, Project Management Professional, Professional Forester, Professional Biologist, or other relevant professional association.
