Job Title: Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Premier Tech. As a key member of our plant operations in Carrot River, Saskatchewan, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and undertake the repair and preventative maintenance program for harvest and mobile equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain power transmissions, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with expertise in fabrication and welding.
  • Provide critical feedback while assessing and diagnosing issues.
  • Make recommendations and complete approved work orders within established timelines.
  • Operate and move harvest equipment as required.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.
Requirements:
  • You are a team player who values safety above all else.
  • You possess a strong mechanical aptitude and resourcefulness.
  • You have experience with heavy equipment and can adapt to various weather conditions.
  • You are driven by the goal of maximizing efficiency and production.
  • You can work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are available for overtime shifts as required.
  • You hold a Red Seal Mechanic certification.
