Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician II plays a crucial role in the assembly of our electricity-based radiation sterilization systems. This position requires a high level of autonomy, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to ensure timely and quality execution of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute precise assembly tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to quality standards and production schedules.
- Identify and resolve issues during the manufacturing process, collaborating with engineering teams to address technical challenges.
- Participate in quality control processes, implementing and overseeing quality checks to uphold product standards.
- Maintain detailed records of manufacturing processes, improvements, and issue resolutions, generating reports on key performance indicators.
- Oversee routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment, coordinating with maintenance personnel to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist in the installation of machines on-site.
Requirements:
- Two or more years of related experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality control.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician, or four additional years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of trade work, including electronics, plumbing, wiring, computers, and PLCs.
- Knowledge of mechanical construction and the ability to use specialized manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to set goals and work cross-functionally with other teams.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and travel internationally, if required.
