Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wealth Planning Consultant to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing expert wealth planning advice and guidance to high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth plans for clients, taking into account their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • Collaborate with investment advisors to deliver a client-focused wealth planning experience, culminating in a documented wealth strategy.
  • Provide expert guidance on advanced financial planning concepts, including tax, estate, and succession planning, philanthropy, and other complex wealth service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investment advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of wealth management solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices in wealth planning.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in wealth planning or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • CFP designation (IQPF in Quebec) or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
