About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Regency LTC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional resident care and enhancing the quality of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality resident care while adhering to protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, and initiate remedial health measures as needed.
- Organize and direct functions related to resident care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with nursing and personal care staff to manage workload and provide training and development opportunities.
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with ability to work individually and as part of a team.
