About the Role

The Manager, Southwestern Ontario Stroke Network, is a key leadership position at London Health Sciences Centre. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality stroke care across the continuum, from acute to rehabilitation and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with regional stroke centers, district stroke centers, and community partners.
  • Ensure the Southwestern Ontario Stroke Network is supporting a system approach to stroke care, including evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the liaison with Accreditation Canada-Stroke DistinctionTM team to maintain Stroke DistinctionTM throughout the region.
  • Develop and execute the Southwestern Ontario Stroke Network's workplans in alignment with CorHealth's Action Plan.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized baccalaureate degree program in a healthcare or business-related discipline.
  • Related post-graduate education preferred.
  • Current Certificate of Registration from a college recognized under the Regulated Health Professions Act.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in progressively more responsible leadership roles in a healthcare environment, preferably in an acute care academic teaching hospital.
  • Previous clinical and/or management experience in stroke care preferred.
