Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MANPASAND INDIAN CUISINE INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing our culinary team, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
  • Train and supervise our culinary team to ensure they are equipped to prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to meet the demands of our restaurants.
  • Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs and preferences for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Ensure that all food meets our quality standards and is presented in an appealing manner.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to ensure our kitchen is well-maintained.
  • Consult with our clients to understand their needs and preferences for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to meet the demands of our restaurants.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the demands of our restaurants. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

30 hours per week.
