About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist with the Ontario Public Service. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors and callers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, and external partners.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced correctional facility environment, providing support to our team and contributing to a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Financial Benefits: As per collective agreement, you will receive competitive compensation and benefits, including a temporary work term and English language requirements.
  • Work Schedule: Work 36.25 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures and customer service principles.
