Territory Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Herc Rentals. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business relationships with companies and individuals within your designated territory.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow revenue in your territory through regular visits to customer job sites and offices
- Develop a network of potential clients and maintain regular contact through phone and internet
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve desired results
- Meet and exceed sales quotas by renting and selling equipment
- Understand customer needs and market conditions to provide effective solutions
- Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base
- Support all team members
- BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the heavy equipment and/or construction markets
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Customer service focused and able to react to changing business needs
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the company
Base salary of $40,000 plus uncapped commission and a commission guarantee for 3 months
