Geological Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Technician to join our team at Waterline Resources Inc. as a key member of our environmental services group.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Design and implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of our operations, including drilling and oil and gas exploration.
- Perform technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, and other information, and prepare detailed reports.
- Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data, well logs, and other test results, maps, notes, and cross sections.
- Develop and implement procedures for cleaning up contaminated sites and restoring ecosystems.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies in the field of environmental geology.
- College/CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as environmental science, geology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
