Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team at our Kingsville Headquarters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, social media programs, and brand management to enhance the SUNSET brand and build our profile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans, including brand management, graphic design, HR, merchandising, philanthropy, and events.
  • Content Creation: Write and edit internal and external content, including company newsletters, trade communications, media releases, website content, and communications.
  • Project Management: Manage all communications projects, such as newsletters, calendars, and brand collateral.
  • Trade Show Support: Assist with trade show attendance and representation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in Communications or Content Creation.
  • Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management and analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
