Job Description

London Drugs Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandising Manager to join our team in the TECH Department. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for developing sales through the presentation and merchandising of the TECH area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer experience.
  • Manage and maintain the professional image of the TECH Department, ensuring that all areas are well-presented and merchandised.
  • Monitor and control the financial aspect of the TECH area, ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Set production/sales goals for the TECH Department team and hold them accountable to maximize sales events and productivity.
  • Understand and comply with Company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management, customer service, and employee conduct.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other team members to ensure effective communication and drive sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and industry trends, and communicate this information to the team.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the TECH Department's operational software and support systems.
  • Knowledge of desktop PCs and Windows-based operating systems.
  • A thorough understanding of all TECH products and services, including Photo Electronics, photofinishing, Audio Video Systems, and Computer categories.
  • A good working knowledge of merchandising principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
