Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Mountains and Meadows Care Group.

Job Summary:

The Continuing Care Assistant will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Deliver meals and snacks to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Respond to call signals and provide assistance to residents as required.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a continuing care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
