Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fish Quality Control Specialist to join our team at FRUITS DE MER MADELEINE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our seafood products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of seafood products to ensure they meet company standards
  • Take samples of products at various stages of processing to test for quality and specifications
  • Examine ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Conduct routine tests for product specifications and ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail
  • Work conditions: Repetitive tasks, cold/refrigerated environment, wet/damp conditions
  • Work language: English or French
  • Hours: 30 to 70 hours per week
