Job Summary

The Speech and Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, interpret, and program for students' strengths and needs. Under the supervision of the Chief, Speech and Language Pathologist, and in collaboration with the Special Education Consultant, the Speech and Language Pathologist will make recommendations for strategies, goals, and group or individual programming for pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction to the Communicative Disorders Assistant
  • Assess and interpret student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized programming
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Qualifications and Experience

Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology

Current license in Speech and Language Pathology

Successful related experience in this field is an asset

Professional thinking to problem-solve

Demonstrated interpretive and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
